Softball Recap: Tri-City Comes Up Short

The Tri-City Tornadoes didn't have quite enough to beat the Westville Tigers on Saturday and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Tornadoes have lost by just one run.

Tri-City's loss dropped their record down to 6-4-1. As for Westville, they pushed their record up to 24-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Tri-City has already played their next match, a 10-2 defeat against Teutopolis on the 10th. As for Westville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-7 victory against Deer Creek-Mackinaw on the 10th.
