Soccer Game Preview: Frontier Academy vs. Liberty Common

Frontier Academy is 1-9 against Liberty Common since May of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wolverines are taking a road trip to take on the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Frontier Academy barely beat Fort Morgan the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolverines never let the Mustangs get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for Frontier Academy, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Meanwhile, Liberty Common's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. Everything went their way against Valley as they made off with a 4-0 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Liberty Common considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Frontier Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-2-1. As for Liberty Common, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6-2.

Frontier Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Liberty Common when the teams last played back in April of 2025, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
