Meanwhile, Ovid-Elsie stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Durand, posting a 55-14 victory on the road. The win was familiar territory for Ovid-Elsie who now have five in a row.
Braeden Tokar was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with three steals. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Evalyn Cole, who scored ten points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Hill-McCloy's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5. As for Ovid-Elsie, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season.
