Basketball Recap: Atlanta Jewish Academy's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Atlanta Jewish Academy had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 39-30 victory over the Heritage Preparatory Rams on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Jaguar: when they faced off against the Rams back in December of 2024, they had to take a 66-56 loss.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Atlanta Jewish Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Shai Kaiserblueth, who posted ten points. The dominant performance gave Kaiserblueth a new career-high in points. Ari Shapiro was another key player, putting up seven points.

Atlanta Jewish Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-9. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Heritage Preparatory, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Atlanta Jewish Academy will square off against Rock Springs Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Heritage Preparatory, they will face off against Holy Spirit Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
