Basketball Game Preview: Lockport Lions vs. Kenmore West Blue Devils

The Lockport Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Kenmore West Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lockport is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Lockport is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against North Tonawanda on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Lockport was beaten by North Tonawanda 102-39. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-20.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kenmore West, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in December of 2024. They secured a 46-42 W over Niagara Falls back in December of 2024.

Kenmore West now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lockport, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3.

Lockport ended up a good deal behind Kenmore West in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, losing 54-36. Can Lockport avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
