Basketball Recap: Garinger Comes Up Short

Garinger's game on Friday was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 65-59 to the Concord Spiders. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Garinger's record now sits at 3-7. As for Concord, they moved to 4-6 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coming up, Garinger will be taking part in a tournament against Carvers Bay at 12:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Concord, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Central Cabarrus at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2026.
