Southeast and Lingle-Fort Laramie are an even 3-3 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. The Cyclones will face off against the Doggers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Southeast has given up an average of 31.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Southeast's last matchup with Niobrara County could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Cyclones had to suffer through a 50-14 loss at the hands of the Tigers. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Cyclones who fell 27-24 when the teams previously met back in September of 2023.

Meanwhile, Lingle-Fort Laramie faced Wright in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Doggers claimed a resounding 55-17 win over the Panthers. The Doggers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Lingle-Fort Laramie and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.5 points over those games. As for Southeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Southeast was taken down by Lingle-Fort Laramie 55-13 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Cyclones avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
