Preview: Edinburgh Lancers vs. Oldenburg Academy Twisters
After two games on the road, Edinburgh is heading back home. They will take on the Oldenburg Academy Twisters at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Edinburgh focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Saturday.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 76-49, which was the final score in Edinburgh's tilt against Indian Creek.
Despite the defeat, Edinburgh had strong showings from Rylan Londeree, who scored 12 points, and Connor Ramey, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 11 rebounds. Bailey Totten was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Meanwhile, Oldenburg Academy didn't have too much trouble with Morristown on the road on Tuesday as they won 64-46.
Edinburgh's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Oldenburg Academy, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Edinburgh took their win against Oldenburg Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a conclusive 58-34. Does Edinburgh have another victory up their sleeve, or will Oldenburg Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
