Softball Recap: Madison County Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Madison County's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Central Red Devils on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Madison County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-3 record this season.

Madison County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-6 victory against Rehobeth on the 4th. As for Central, they have also already played their next game, an 8-0 win against Tuscaloosa County on the 5th.
