Baseball Recap: Mt. Enterprise Starts Season with Win Against Slocum

Mt. Enterprise took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They never let the Slocum Mustangs get on the board and left with a 10-0 win.

The team relied heavily on Case Pieper, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Aaiden Alsup, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Mt. Enterprise always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Slocum only posted an OBP of .375.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats duke it out with the Lions at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Slocum, they will square off against Neches at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
