Highlands's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Beechwood Tigers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 7-1 victory on May 6th.

Highlands is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-12-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Beechwood, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-11-1.

Looking ahead, Highlands will challenge South Warren on Friday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bluebirds surely won't give up without a fight. Beechwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
