Basketball Game Preview: Firelands Falcons vs. Woodridge Bulldogs

Having just played yesterday, the Firelands Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Woodridge Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Firelands' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.

On Friday, Firelands strolled past Oberlin with points to spare, taking the game 58-39.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Woodridge over Streetsboro in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Woodridge was the clear victor by a 63-41 margin over Streetsboro. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Firelands' victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Woodridge, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5.

Firelands came up short against Woodridge when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 61-57. Can Firelands avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
