Last Friday, Stewart County took a serious blow against Early County, falling 49-11. Stewart County was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-3.
Meanwhile, Miller County's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 61-28 loss at the hands of Randolph-Clay. Miller County has struggled against Randolph-Clay recently, as their match on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Miller County had strong showings from Talayjha Hopson, who scored 5 points along with 5 rebounds, and Hannah Cratic, who scored 4 points along with 9 rebounds. Cratic is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
This is the second loss in a row for Stewart County and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Miller County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
