Basketball Game Preview: Hampshire Trojans vs. Frankfort Falcons

The Hampshire Trojans will head out to square off against the Frankfort Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Monday, Hampshire beat Petersburg 58-49. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 99-55, which was the final score in Frankfort's tilt against Lewis County on Saturday.

Hampshire's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Frankfort, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Hampshire came up short against Frankfort when the teams last played back in January, falling 53-43. Can Hampshire avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
