Baseball Recap: Rangely Panthers vs. Cedaredge Bruins
Rangely had lost three straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped down to 2-17 to make it four. They lost 17-10 to the Cedaredge Bruins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-10 back in April.
Rangely got a big performance out of Bradley Lambros, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Landon Bollinger, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
As for Cedaredge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-8. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.
On Cedaredge's side, they got a massive performance out of Rylan Brooks, who went 3-for-5 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Brooks has posted since back in April. Logan Sanders was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
As of now, neither Rangely nor Cedaredge have any future games scheduled.
