Volleyball Recap: Glenbrook South Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road + How To Watch

Glenbrook South was the 2-1 winner over Lyons when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions on Friday. Considering the last time the Titans couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Lyons scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21.

Ryann Knuth paced Glenbrook South's offense, picking up ten kills. Knuth got some help from Annie Rosinski and her eight assists. Maddie Hermann controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Glenbrook South's defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4. As for Lyons, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Glenbrook South didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Niles West on the 4th. As for Lyons, they will face off against Metea Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
