Roane County is a perfect 6-0 against Oliver Springs since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Yellowjackets will be playing at home against the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Roane County has seven straight victories, Oliver Springs has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Considering Roane County have won four matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Oliver Springs fell victim to Berean Christian and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against Berean Christian, falling 8-0.

Roane County's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those five games. As for Oliver Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Everything went Roane County's way against Oliver Springs when the teams last played back in April of 2018, as Roane County made off with an 8-1 win. Will the Yellowjackets repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
