Quad Cities Christian suffered their closest defeat since December 2, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the East Moline Christian Eagles by a score of 24-21. Quad Cities Christian was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced East Moline Christian earlier this season, when they won 46-22.

When it comes to explaining why Quad Cities Christian lost, don't look at Ayda Kyer. Despite the final result, she posted 11 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Kyer has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 17 times she's played.

Quad Cities Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for East Moline Christian, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-11 record.

Quad Cities Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Moline Christian, they will face off against Morning Star Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Morning Star Academy's defense has only allowed 25 points per game this season, so East Moline Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.
