Football Recap: Lithia Springs Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lithia Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 30-8 to the Villa Rica Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 100th).

Lithia Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Villa Rica, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Coming up, Lithia Springs will be playing at home against East Paulding at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Villa Rica, they will head out to challenge Rome at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Wolves have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games.
