Baseball Recap: Daviess County Comes Up Short

Daviess County lost to Apollo on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Daviess County saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Weston Lawrence, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Daviess County's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Apollo, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Daviess County will head out to face off against Butler County at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Apollo, they will take on Forest Park at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
