Boulder City came out on top against Pahrump Valley on Thursday thanks in part to Carson Alder's efforts. Alder posted seven points and eight boards, good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process. We rated that as his best effort of the season, edging out his previous best, set on January 13th, when he earned four points (Gamescore: 11 vs. 6.5).

Looking ahead, Alder and Boulder City will welcome Virgin Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Alder will face off against Destry Tobler, the Bulldogs' star power forward.
