Basketball Game Preview: Kimball/White Lake Wildkats vs. Bon Homme Cavaliers

The Kimball/White Lake Wildkats will head out to challenge the Bon Homme Cavaliers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kimball/White Lake is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Kimball/White Lake was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 47-43 to Mt. Vernon/Plankinton. While losing is never fun, the Wildkats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Titans are ranked 23rd).

Meanwhile, Bon Homme came up short against Beresford on Saturday, falling 59-39. The Cavaliers haven't had much luck with the Watchdogs recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Bon Homme's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Kimball/White Lake, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 5-9.

Kimball/White Lake was dealt a bruising 65-38 defeat at the hands of Bon Homme when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Kimball/White Lake avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
