Meanwhile, LaFayette hadn't done well against Northwest Whitfield recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. LaFayette walked away with a 4-1 win over Northwest Whitfield. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Ramblers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Calhoun's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-6. As for LaFayette, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
