Volleyball Game Preview: Manor Mustangs vs. Stony Point Tigers

Manor is 0-9 against Stony Point since August of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Mustangs will host the Tigers at 6:30 p.m.

Manor came up short against Cedar Ridge on Friday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-10, 25-8.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Stony Point, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on Cedar Ridge with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday.

Stony Point walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-14, 25-16.

Stony Point's win came from a few key players Manor will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Lexi Boyer, who had 18 digs and two aces. What's more, she posted three assists, the most she's had since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Deba, who had 12 digs and two assists.

Stony Point has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-19 record this season. As for Manor, their loss dropped their record down to 4-26.
