Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Atkinson County). Everything went their way against the Cook Hornets on Tuesday as they made off with a 12-2 win. It was an even better day for Ingrid Delgado as she scored eight goals for her team.

Atkinson County's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Cook, they dropped their record down to 0-14-1 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Atkinson County and Cook could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Rebels will square off against Thomasville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (247 vs. 75). Meanwhile, Cook (ranked 460th) will meet Georgia Christian (ranked 67th) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
