Aliyah Perry commands the offense for Hawks win

Make it nine blowout wins for the Lake Minneola Hawks this season. They put the hurt on South Lake with a sharp 56-35 win on Friday. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Lake Minneola considering their zero-point performance the game before.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lake Minneola to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aliyah Perry, who scored 16 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Eva Saunders was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven steals.
Lake Minneola's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-7. As for South Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Minneola will face off against Seminole at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seminole will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for South Lake, South Lake and Windermere will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
