Basketball Recap: Evergreen Christian Comes Up Short

Evergreen Christian lost against Clinton Grace Christian back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Evergreen Christian Eagles took a 58-44 bruising from the Clinton Grace Christian Eagles. Evergreen Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Evergreen Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Clinton Grace Christian, they pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

Evergreen Christian will face off against New Hope Academy National at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. New Hope Academy National knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matches -- so hopefully Evergreen Christian likes a good challenge. As for Clinton Grace Christian, they will challenge Rosedale Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
