Basketball Recap: Caseville Comes Up Short

Caseville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Peck Pirates and fell 65-29. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-11.

It was another big night for Thomas West, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine boards for Peck. The contest was West's third in a row with at least ten points. Cody Cairo was another key player, going 6 of 7 on his way to 17 points.

Caseville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Peck, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 7-9.

Caseville will head out on the road to challenge North Huron at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Peck, they will host Carsonville-Port Sanilac at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
