Basketball Game Preview: Mifflinburg Wildcats vs. Southern Columbia Area Tigers

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Mifflinburg Wildcats face off against the Southern Columbia Area Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday... Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Mifflinburg is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Loyalsock Township just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 46-44. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Southern Columbia Area came up short against Central Columbia on Monday and fell 48-37.

Mifflinburg's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Southern Columbia Area, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Everything came up roses for Mifflinburg against Southern Columbia Area in their previous meeting back in February of 2020, as the team secured a 61-29 victory.
