Soccer Game Preview: Highland vs. Green

The Highland Hornets will venture away from home to square off against the Green Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Green took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Highland, who comes in off a win.

Highland barely beat Cuyahoga Falls the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hornets' defense stepped up to hand the Black Tigers a 6-0 shutout on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Highland needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, Green fell victim to Perry and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. Green have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Highland's win bumped their record up to 8-6-2. As for Green, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-2.
