Baseball Recap: Hanover Wins Going Away Against Plymouth South

Hanover won the last time they faced Plymouth South and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Hawks came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 5-1. The contest marked the Hawks' most dominant win of the season so far.

Ben Freedman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cole Hendrickson, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

The Raiders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Plymouth South, they will be playing at home against Quincy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Presidents have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.29 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
