It was a good run, but LaSalle-Peru unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 48-38 to the Fieldcrest Knights. The contest marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

LaSalle-Peru's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Fieldcrest, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

LaSalle-Peru will be home for the holidays to greet Pontiac at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fieldcrest, they will venture away from home to challenge Dwight at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Dwight knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Fieldcrest likes a good challenge.
