Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vestavia Hills). They blew past the Scott County Cardinals 78-53 on Saturday. The Rebels have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cardinals, too.

Vestavia Hills pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Scott County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Vestavia Hills and Pelham will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Scott County, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Jessamine at 8:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
