Basketball Recap: West Blocton Comes Up Short

West Blocton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They lost 56-33 to the Holt Ironmen . For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered against the Ironmen since December 29, 2021.

West Blocton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Holt, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-15.

West Blocton has already played their next game, a 53-35 loss against American Christian Academy on the 17th. As for Holt, they will square off against Bibb County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
