Indian Valley came into Tuesday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Ridgewood Generals by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Braves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Indian Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-15, 25-20, 28-26.

Gionna Miles had a dynamite game, getting 30 digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last seven contests. Another player making a difference was Zoey Braun, who had nine digs.

They weren't the only good server: Indian Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive games.

Indian Valley's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Ridgewood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.
