Football Recap: Walnut Hills Takes a Loss

Walnut Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Winton Woods Warriors 48-7. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-7.

Will Rivers threw for 89 yards and one TD. Joshua Thornton was his top target, picking up 79 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Walnut Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Winton Woods, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Walnut Hills is set to challenge their familiar foe Loveland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Winton Woods will square off against rival Little Miami at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
