Softball Recap: Cumberland Pirates vs. Flora Wolves
After flying high against Blue Ridge last Friday, Cumberland came back down to earth. The Cumberland Pirates fell just short of the Flora Wolves by a score of 8-7 on Saturday.
Libby McGinnis and Ashton Tolen did some serious damage despite the final result: McGinnis scored a run while going 1-for-3, while Tolen scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Tolen is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last five games she's played.
