Recap: Crosspointe Christian Academy Panthers vs. KIPP Legacy Lions

Crosspointe Christian Academy walked away with a 67-55 win over KIPP Legacy. This was payback for Crosspointe Christian Academy, who suffered a 68-47 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Crosspointe Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Quinton Ford, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. Ford has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Neby Yewubneh, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
KIPP Legacy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nick Mapp, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. Mapp is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last six games he's played. Se'Maj Moore was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Crosspointe Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for KIPP Legacy, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
