Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Tyler Warner and Drew Phillips Lead Southeast to Victory

Southeast won the last time they faced Northeast and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Southeast Lancers managed a 63-58 victory over the Northeast Vikings.

Leading Southeast to victory were Drew Phillips and Tyler Warner. Phillips went 9 for 13 on his way to 19 points and eight boards, while Warner went 7 of 12 en route to 18 points and six rebounds. Warner is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Emery Wilbert, who posted five points and eight rebounds.

Southeast's record is now 4-2. As for Northeast, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southeast will challenge Pleasanton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Southeast is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.2 points per game this season. As for Northeast, they will square off against Central Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northeast is facing Central Heights at the right time seeing as Central Heights is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
