Volleyball Recap: Weldon Valley Takes a Loss

Weldon Valley lost against Sedgwick County back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Cougars.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-11, 25-8.

Sedgwick County can attribute much of their success to Kinley Kizer, who had six digs and four aces.

Weldon Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Sedgwick County, the win was the ninth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Weldon Valley will welcome Hi-Plains at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sedgwick County, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Fleming at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
