Basketball Recap: Berean Baptist Academy Comes Up Short

The Berean Baptist Academy Bulldogs ended up a good deal behind the Hunt Warriors on Saturday and lost 73-55. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Na'sir Hines had a dynamite game For Hunt., shooting 86% from the field to rack up 15 points in addition to six assists and six boards. Thanks to that strong game, Hines now owns an excellent 66.7% three-point shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Aarion Bryant, who went 6-for-7 on his way to 16 points and six rebounds.

Berean Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Hunt, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Berean Baptist Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Freedom Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Hunt, they will take on Fike in a tournament on Saturday.
