Softball Recap: Atlantic County Institute of Tech Takes a Loss

Atlantic County Institute of Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Cedar Creek Pirates, falling 12-4. Atlantic County Institute of Tech was not able to make up for their loss to Cedar Creek from their previous meeting back in May of 2016.

Atlantic County Institute of Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Cedar Creek, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8.

Coming up, Atlantic County Institute of Tech will square off against Absegami at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Braves will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Atlantic County Institute of Tech surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cedar Creek, they will venture away from home to square off against Egg Harbor Township at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
