Basketball Recap: Christian Fellowship vs. Sunnydale Academy
Christian Fellowship gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They put the hurt on Sunnydale Academy with a sharp 68-43 victory. Christian Fellowship pushed the score to 48-25 by the end of the third, a deficit Sunnydale Academy had little chance of recovering from.
Christian Fellowship found their leader in sophomore Jake Davis, who went 8 for 20 en route to 21 points plus five assists and five steals. Carson Crockett was another key player, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
Christian Fellowship will face off against Lighthouse Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sunnydale Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Heartland Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 9th.
