Baseball Recap: Roland Comes Up Short

Roland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Muldrow Bulldogs. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Rangers, who fell 5-3 when the teams last met back in March of 2023.

Roland's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Muldrow, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 4-11 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roland will challenge Heavener at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Heavener has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.07 runs per game on average), something Roland will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Muldrow, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Broken Bow at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
