Westfield is 9-1 against East Longmeadow since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bombers will host the Spartans at 6:15 p.m. East Longmeadow took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Westfield, who comes in off a win.

Westfield not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 7, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Frontier Regional as they made off with a 3-0 win.

While Westfield won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-16, 25-18.

Meanwhile, East Longmeadow unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-match winning streak on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Frontier Regional.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 19-25, 25-23, 25-12.

Westfield has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-7 record this season. As for East Longmeadow, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-2.

Westfield skirted past East Longmeadow 3-2 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Do the Bombers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
