Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Legacy couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Cherokee Trail Cougars by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The loss was Legacy's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Legacy fell to 14-1-3. As for Cherokee Trail, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3-3.

Legacy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cherokee Trail, they will take on Ralston Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ralston Valley's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Cherokee Trail's offense will have their work cut out for them.
