Flag Football Game Preview: Mary Persons Bulldogs vs. Jackson Red Devils + Official Tickets

The Mary Persons Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Jackson Red Devils at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. Mary Persons is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

On Wednesday, Mary Persons was able to grind out a solid victory over McDonough, taking the game 19-12.

Mary Persons didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Libby Holloway and Jayla Barkley.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Jackson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They never let Rutland get on the board and left with a 12-0 win on Wednesday. The Red Devils' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Mary Persons now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Jackson, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.

Everything came up roses for Mary Persons against Jackson in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 55-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
