Volleyball Recap: Wynford Victorious

Wynford's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Ridgedale Rockets by a score of 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Royals in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now won five in a row.

Wynford had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-16, 25-21, 25-12.

Brooke Frombaugh paced Wynford's offense, picking up 23 kills. Frombaugh got some help from Madisyn Watkins and her 39 assists. Watkins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

The victory got Wynford back to even at 1-1. As for Ridgedale, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
