Baseball Recap: Chenango Forks Blue Devils vs. Owego Free Academy River Hawks
Chenango Forks had lost four straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 1-6 to make it five. They came up short against the Owego Free Academy River Hawks, falling 13-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the River Hawks this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-1 loss on Wednesday.
As for Owego Free Academy, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.2 runs.
For Owego Free Academy's part, Connor Kotski made a big impact while hitting and pitching.
