Basketball Recap: Wrightstown Comes Up Short

Wrightstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Brillion Lions 77-43. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

Wrightstown's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Brillion, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Wrightstown will be home for the holidays to greet Oconto Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Brillion and Mosinee will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Indians have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
